This logo was designed during my 2nd year of university, with the breif to develop a barbadian botanical rum brand from a given name. 

The brands 'bottle' icon was inspired by the barbadian mythological spirit the 'Bacoo', which was the central focus for the brand story - a spirit both physical and mythological. Bacoo's are mischievous, often attaching themselves to a host, whilst many legends say the only way to rid yourself of one is by trapping it inside of a rum bottle.
